I thought alot of cars were very baddly ( spelling) tuned and not running right. I heard alot of pinging and breaking down when ramping up tho i sometimes wonder if people actually look after cars except putting oil in and soap on it. The best was the VP belina i think, Leaned out at 4 grand. I felt sorry for the guy that owned it. He just didn't know and that is why all people should get regular tuning done on Carby cars and Injected cars get regular checks on injectors and
AFR's to make sure they run sweet as.
I was one that didn't bring out the T due to it not being 100% right for shoot outs. Tho with it still at 6 grand limiter, i could've made some ground up for our side. But it is all up to owners to look after them and i just hadn't had time to get everything right ( need that Motec soon) and make it home.
Your ute did very well and maybe timing is an issue for that car around 4-5 grand. Sounded like it was drowning and then just got it's head above the water line and then it ran out of revs.
