hey, i get these 2 'problems' in my LT but never really considered them that bad, just annoying, not damaging. sometimes that accelerator spring release sounds bad and i cringe, but i can never be bothered with dealers anymore, they never no what they're doing in my opinion so they will just say there is nothin wrong with it n pretend they drove it around...
Let us know what your dealer says, for our sake i hope its not bad
