Get a clip in 4 point harness, can remove on street (or not, I've never been hassled). Mount to the two rear seat bolts of the front seat, and to the parcel shelf.

It only starts to get annoying, when you need a cage and chute (and 5/6 point harness, when you need a race bucket seat too). And then you're getting serious because you're doing 9's and 140+MPH, so safety is important, and the car probably not road legal anyway.
I was really refering to cages
Dont worry im all for safety after racing motorbikes for a 11 years and having my fare share of crashes and broken bones and nearly loosing a leg
If you didnt get hasled for having a cage i would have one even if my car only ran 13s
