The block is a standard 302 short with a crank thats seen better days (couple of holes drilled into it to stop cracking). It was put together from left over bits in the shop so everything was second hand. The only difference to the short in a 302 is this one is blueprinted..careful attention paid to ring gaps, deck heights and the like.
The RPM limiter was set to over 8000 to stop us hiiting the limiter going across the line but the engine has seen over 8000 a hand full of times..
This was me and Ryan having go at building our first modular motor and learning more about these engines.
As for the heads they are BPR ported with FG 2568 cams from crow. The aim of this engine is that this is something any customer could do without spending big $$$ or going S/C.
We are also using the Yella Terra plemun and mono blade T/B with our CAI
