OK, so called the Vic dealer to ensure that the 120,000km 'B' service was complete and that in fact the fuel filter and transmission service was also completed. They have confirmed yes all done, called previous owner too and he'll forward me service invoices for peace of mind.
Local John McGrath Ford Dealer will look at it at on behalf of Etheridge Ford at the earliest next Tue,
So, for the time being though I pulled into our work workshop and unscrewed the canister, cleaned the rubber seal, and screwed back together. We'll see how that goes for the time being.
