Funny you mention divisiveness. Im seeing a lot of comments (not just here) prepared to throw Vic out to the wolves now that they are almost alone in trying to contain Covid to their state. Pointing fingers at whose to blame and shaking fists at particular groups. Im guessing most outside of Vic are happy to alienate them if it means it doesn't impose on own personal liberties.
My main point is the title of
Divisiveness and how this whole virus construct is to divide us in many ways, shapes and forms. A lot is for our health. But Im seeing it divide us from the strength we are as a country to some degree. That same strength I saw for the Bushfires and droughts not that long ago. Then the BLM protests came in and its really drawn a line in the sand.
Divisiveness is ever clearer now than its ever been and something out there is chipping away making sure the divide is getting wider so it weakens us.
