Re potential vaccines:
CSIRO is testing two vaccine candidates, One from University of Oxford and another from US - Inovio Pharma.

I am sure they know what they are doing and trust their judgement in picking these two as potential candidates.
UQ also doing research & vaccine development. They do issue many press releases and statements about something is ""just around the corner".
