Except they didn't get compensation for what happened to them, the taxi licence holders should be thankful that they got some form of compensation.
The market moved on - it's not 'disruption' it's the market moved on to new offerings as they became available, the same as Foxtel/AUSTAR prior to the NBN coming along allowing access to things like streaming services.
