There is no damage on just adjusting your idle speed high, only thing is it will drink more fuel on parked(idling more then you should) if its automatic you can possibly damage your transmission if you idle it more then 1200-1300, it's best never to touch factory idle settings if your udles are low or high there is something wrong with your car, pull some codes and it will save you so much time on pointing out where your problem is.
