edit: I should stipulate, you'll be moving the butterfly yourself with your fingers, the TB will be disconnected and there's no need to have the key on. It's all powered down at this point.


I have a similar problem with a Honda Civic only it's dead at 20% and back at say 30% when using an OBD2 adaptor. Checking it at the TB it shows an Ohms reading then open circuit then back to a reading. Just verifies the issue is with the TB and not the pedal sensor.


The symptom is minimal, thankfully, only showing up more with the A/C on and typically two or more occupants, so a bit of load on the engine. At least this is at a lower rpm and I can 'drive around it' so to speak.
Cool, I'll try and find the pins tomorrow I have 6 pins, it's an electronic throttle body. But I should see the Ohms move once I find the right 2.

Good tip with that I can be sure it's the TB.
