Default Re: Boost A Pump

The Boost A Pump is very easy to install, there is two locations it can be installed. one of behind the glove box and the other is under the passenger seat.
Earth is simple to get from any bolt mounted to metal near the unit.

Power comes from the factory fuel pump wire which we cut and place bullet terminals on so it can be easy By-Passed or returned to stock. One end of the wire with the fuse connection is connected to the OEM fuel pump wire and the boosted power wire is then connected to the other end of the OEM wire that runs to the fuel pump.

Next you set up the controller box which we leave hanging down during tuning so we have easy access tot he unit.( once tuning is finished we relocate the unit behind the glove box.

On Turbo/Supercharged car there is a Pressure switch that comes with the kit that triggers the extra voltage only when needed. This we place in the engine bay and is run of the vacuum line near the fuel pressure regulator.

The unit is limited to 17V as we don't want any issues with the factory wiring being overloaded. This will cause very expensive wiring loom replacement.
"0" on the dial is standard voltage all the way to "100" is 17Volts

We offer over the phone tech support with all our products.

Dave from CPV in Mackay has been using a Boost-a-pump in his FG F6 for the last 2 years trouble free, Standard fitment in Shelby Super Snake, so you know its good!!
