My elderly uncle and aunt are members of a large church group, community groups, social groups etc.

Have so many pictures on FB of people visiting all the time, them going places in big busses with these groups etc.

My uncle isn't all that mobile, and needs dialysis 3 days a week, my aunt is his full time carer and lives week by week. She also can't go out and spend half a day buying stuff like I'm happy to do.

I have been delivering a box of essentials every 3 days... if I didn't they would be starving and wiping their rears with their dirty laundry..

I guess you can't beat family to bail you out when you need help (trust me I know) and when it comes to friends it's always quality over quantity.
