They would probably then fine you instead for not having a commercial towing licence, as the NSW police have been targeting privately owned tilt trays, flatbed trucks, and cars towing car trailers with (fitted) winches, claiming if you are transporting cars on a trailer or flatbed truck for profit, you are running a business which requires a commercial towing licence.
The towies have been jumping up and down complaining that they are losing work.
