Default LW ST Lock issue

Hey all,

Long time lurker, first time poster here. I've had my 2013 Focus ST since new. Just discovered while at work today that the car will no longer lock by touching the sensor on the door handle (on either door), and need to lock using the key fob (first world problem i know lol). The car however will unlock fine if i grab the door handles.

Does anyone know if there's a fuse that may have blown for this? I haven't been home yet to check the manual but just asking in case I can get a quicker answer...

I had a similar problem with my ST, although i was getting a message telling me the key fob battery was getting low. I could lock the car with the key fob, but difficult to lock and unlock with sensors. Replaced the battery and no further problems.

Thanks for the reply Mulga. Don't worry it's all sorted. When I got back to the car last night I discovered that the boot was released somehow! Only noticed when I started the car, I got the 'Luggage Compartment Open' message.

When I got home I tested the touch sensor again and it worked OK.
