Default Lowride260 WSID results 14/9.

Had a good night tonight did a PB first run and backed it up, here they are in order.

1. 13.251@103.36 1.982 60" 8.575@82.56

2. 13.271@106.16 1.966 60" 8.581@81.94

3. 13.402@103.15 2.039 60" 8.705@81.78

4. 13.409@106.14 2.056 60' 8.725@82.04

5. 13.362@102.67 2.054 60" 8.670@82.22

6. 13.301@103.71 2.001 60" 8.625@82.34

Took a tenth off my PB also best mph cant explain my two high mph 106's except I did both of them in the left lane all the other passes were in the right lane.
Thanks Craig(PhantomXR8) for all your input always value your comments mate and good to see Chris(MYV8) again also Leigh(XRQTOR) poped his head up, what wasn't there enough talent on the hill or were you trying to get a close up with the contest chicks lol, was good chatting to you to mate. There was a couple of other Boss's out there GTP,Pusuite and a MKII 260, well done the guy in the 260 new motor 1000k's and managed a 13.9.
Fogot to say other than my PB my highlight of the night was blowing away a LS2 with edit and exaust gotta love that go the Boss.

Mate I have cai, BPT power pipe, underdrives, helix spacer, full exaust,edit(Bluepower/Xtreme tune) 6 speed manual stock diff gears. Mate if you do those same mods to a say 290 ute easy 12's, I just dont think there are many people in the 290 having a real go. But there was a 290 GTP there tonight with edit and cai only managed I think 14.4 or so I wont say who tuned it. Mate if I had the extra dosh for a 290 I would get one in a second.

Great times....and from a manual too! I know what a pain in the *** it is to launch those things consistantly with a manual but you seem to have mastered it with those 60's. Well done!

His last pass was a 14.1 and I think the 290 Pursuit did a best of 14.3 (I think).
He was over the moon when his tuner gave him a dyno sheet with 280 plus RWKW (standard exhaust). Not so happy when he got blown away by his mate in the stock 260 ute with 1000k's on his new engine.
I have only ever seen one 290 do sub 14's at WSID in about 10 visits there this year, but plenty of 260's which I thought was strange.
Probably get the good times when I am not there!!!!

Onya Wade, couldn't happen to a nicer bloke. Yeh, the LS2 thought he'd have your measure, didn't count on the Blupower/Xtreme tune though, did he? Chris' promise is in writing by the way!

The reason this subject keeps popping it head up is for a few main reasons, the XR8 guys are generally gung-ho and the 290 girls are generally female.

Whenever I ask for a 290 to be left with me, I get the owners penises shrinking back into their bodies. If i ask for an XR8, they get thrown at me.

The last time someone left me with a 290 for R and D it was the first NA to crack 300rwkw and 114mph, and left a broken trail of parts.

Anyone with a 290 who wants a title shot had better hurry up, because in a couple of months, 12's with 260's will be old news....

This does not apply to you DABOSS, because I know for you, your sig says it all.

Im only in a 26o caz i couldn't afford a 29o at the time, Boy do i wish i waited now. Seems most 29o owner's dont want to hurt their pride and joy. My car should be ready in the coming weeks so it'll be my turn to post some half decent number's (street tires).

What do the times stand at now:
Boss 26o 12.6 n/a
Boss 29o 12.6 n/a
F/I 26o ???
F/I 29o 11.5
