Default How to identify Tickford\Ford 347

Sorry as I know this will be a repeat but I can't find the answer.

How do identify a factory 347 engine (343)?

What were the model AUs that had them?

How do you identify an engine that is out of the car?

Thanks

The engines are 342c.i.
The plenum is a stand alone feature of the stroker & is easily identifiable as it is a more rounded shape.
The engine was only fitted to series 3 TE/TS 50 & Pursuit 250 cars.
2 series 2 & 1 series 3 TL50's were also built.

engine block is modified but you have to pull it apart to see the differences, block and heads are painted , side of the heads are stamped eg: 22 F 02 T and a Big Tickford Wing on the harmonic balancer

have a look here: http://www.fordforums.com.au/showthread.php?t=11386691

What was the power output of the 5.6\342?

If the Tickford 302 put out 220kw the 342 would be250kw?
