XA-C Coupes. To me there has never been another Falcon that looked so sexy.

Couldn't say it better.

They make me go weak at the knees every time I see one. All I have to do now is find one in decent enough condition that I can drive it while I restore it. XA or XB only, however...

Edit: I do, however have a soft spot for XD and XE Sedans.

the coupes look the goods but I am sorry in reality they are impractical as a family truckster having 2 doors and bugger all rear legroom and they are effin heavy as all heck and it is impossible to find a decent one anywhere they are all buggered they were good back then but today they just wouldn't work and the turning circle?? have fun in carparks nowadays in that car nice to look at yes but I look past the shape and see an old car plagued with every day problems that will make owning/driving it a pain in the rear end. I voted BA-BF I think they are nicer than the FG.

I will go and apply 2 flame suits now :

Yes, but we aren't discussing 'which car is practical'.

For pure looks and nothing else, the XA-C Falcon was a great looking vehicle when in good condition. Yes, that is a challenge, but find a mint one, and ones pants need a prompt change.

Rear legroom was identical to sedans of the time. I raised two kids in my Cobra and didn't have an issue. However it was a pain not having rear doors - that's the trade-off for having the sexiest looking Aussie built car ever!

The coupes likely weigh less than the BA/F.

if this was a poll for most practical car that doesnt bugger up with rust, turns well in carparks, has bulk rear legroom and weighs as much as a fart, then im sure the title would say so the coupes owners, however, probably wouldnt care if the car gave them herpes, thats how damn sexy they are!

XB coupe for me

XB and XC were my faves...I don't like the front of the XA much...
FG would be second. Car looks magnificent. If it was a Holden, Gover would not have clean pants for the rest of his life.

Personally I think the EL was the best shape for produced.

Especially in XR guise.

Too be completely honest there are many more models that I would prefer to have over my EL, but when It comes to the best looking body IMO the EL XR's have it.
