Exclamation New TradeMark - "GT-H"

Hi guys.

Just a quick one.

Ford has registered a new TM: "GT-H" under class 12 (Vehicles)
TM #: 1251624
(http://pericles.ipaustralia.gov.au/a...number=1251624)

There is always the argument that just because they have registered a TM, does not confirm it will be a released model...

Do you think it would fit in the new lineup?

Chaser...

Were Hertz Mustangs labelled at GT-H?

Could also be a way of stopping a competitor using a designation close to
GT-HO.

Here is what I found on that website, it seems they have registered for vehicles and printed mateer amongst other items too.

Perhaps it was meant for the FG range but was canned?

I wonder if the GT-H has anything to do with the other thread regarding a 5 year FPV special edition model?

The GTHO will be back... I'm just really afraid it will be like the BF Cobra... Stickers and paint-outs...

Kinda like something you've really looked forward to - always being a big let down...

The only GT-HO that I think will work would be a RETRO/Style version... Lets be realistic here...
The 'GT' nameplate for a Ford Falcon has crossed over so many different bodyshapes and years (XR, XT, XW, XY, XA, XB, EB, EF, BA, BF, FG)... but realistically the GTHO was only really in one body style (XW/XY)... so why can't they be working on a retro car that is based on that body style??

Look at the Mustang / Camaro cars from the US...... They are basically designed in the shadow of the popular body shape that everyone knows...

So My Opinion ?? Retro the GTHO or don't bother...
Otherwise it will be just a poor imitation of the legend that surrounds the GTHO name...
Its gotta be 351kw (So it can be a 351GT)...
Its gotta have lots of crazy colours...
Its gotta be limited build... (300 maximum...)

They're just my ideas...
anyone agree???

Rod Barrett has already said it won't just be a sticker pack. It will have to be a total performance upgrade or nothing.

Yeah but he also said that there was going to be an exciting change in store for FG FPV's. Turned out to be FPV badges instead of Ford ones.

FPV and even Ford couldn't afford a new old body.

The FG should've been a retro XY. Sales wouldn't be any worse than what they are now.
