If the world was serious about saving the planet they need to stop the stinking throw away mentality that everyone has. How much pollution is pumped out manufacturing mr riches new snob mobile every 3 years? Back in the day everything could be repaired and lasted years and years, you spread the emissions used to produce things out over a longer period.

But I guess that would mean we couldn't have shiny new things all the time

We always were IQ wise :-) , and we are not called "The City of Light" for nothing but in reality:

a) we have more urban sprawl ; and
b) we generally have less cloud cover than other Australian cities.

Well THAT MG had a PM2.5 filter that did an amazing filtering job and I wonder if any other manufacturer has similar filtering efficiency.

An ex-neighbor tradie of ours died not long after demonstrating on our extension exactly why he regarded the powered hacksaw as his favourite tool.
The accumulated exposure to dust killed him.

Can you please provide the data for the amount of Co2 produced to get the petrol from the ground, to after it's burnt in an ICE? From the very begging of the oil extraction process, to the very end usage.

I'm very interesting to know. Thanks.

Be good to know and add some more weight to your point of view. Are they still having to ship different components of the batteries from all over the world in pollution causing ships, acid to help with the mining, that's left in the soil and are they still using children with some of the mining? Would be some great points to clarify, thanks in advance for the upcoming information.
