Yep seems the new Euro 5 standard fuel consumption for diesels have been excellent especially with higher KW ratings

1. BMW 5 Series 2L 130kw 380Nm 5.3km/100Km
2. Peugoet 508 2.2L 150Kw 450Nm 5.6Km/100Km
3. Mondeo MC 2L 120Kw 340Nm 6.2Km/100Km
4. Mondeo MA 2L 96Kw 320Nm 7.6Km/100Km

I assume heavier MA model with smaller engines like my 96kw suffer the weight penalty I stand to be corrected I thought the Tax [LCT]is lower on diesel cars if they can achieve less than 7L/100Km
