hi,
I'm after some advice on how to get a good 0-100kph time. I've been using a friends private driveway to do some tests. I'm finding that if I plant the throttle all the way, I just get wheel spin. So I have to be gentle initially and then build it up, but that gives me a slow start and initially the revs are below 3000rpm, so out of the power band. If I stall up the convertor to 2500rpm, again I just get wheel spin. Is there a better way to do this, or do I really need better tyres and an LSD? I'm getting a consistent 7.4s 0-100kph on both BP ultimate and gas, using the OBD port to some diagnostics software. I have a definite dip in power around 3000rpm and need a tune, but can't justify the cost at the moment. Cheers.
