Default Strange noises.

Hi,

This might seem like a silly question but the only Falcons I have owned before this one (98 AU Fairmont, modern to me) was an XC and before that an XB and XA.

Is it normal for a whirring sound from the engine after you have turned it off?

Sort of sounds like a turbo winding down.

Also, when its idling there is an intermittent sound that seems to be coming from inside the dash from the passenger side.

Sort of sounds like the analogue clock tick but much louder, sort of a double clu-thunk

I would have put it down to the climate control doing something except its not going at the time.

Any ideas?

Cheers.

HG
