Technical Contributor: For members who share their technical expertise. - Issue reason: Trev has owned several boosted fords and has really contributed a lot of info on them. His posts in the bike section are also very helpful. I think he should be recognised as a technical contributor.

I don't think in this case a fraction of a second is going to make any difference one way or the other in regards to collectibility etc. As by the time any of our cars are collectible there will be electric cars doing it twice as quick anyway so they will all seem like sleds.

Yeah but they will look and sound tougher.

I think your right Trevor, but to me an electric car (at this point in time) is just like those electric lawn mowers that have been around for years.. It's just not right!

There's plenty of "gas" (not oil)around, I think the combustion engine will survive for far longer than most people think, but in the future be switched to run on CNG/LNG gas.. I hope so anyway!

GazzF6 I understand where you're coming from because I love the sound of ICE's but there is nothing like the torque that you get with EV's. I can't wait until the battery technology improves - that's the only thing holding them back.

Well if it’s not the electric cars it’ll be the one cylinder, 28 speed automatic 2026 Toyota Corolla that will be wasting the current crop of performance cars.
