I am wondering if anyone has any experience with towing with a FWD car.
Has anyone towed a jetski with a FWD and how does the car go when pulling the ski up and out of a ramp? Cheers. |

XtRmn8, I have been towing small boats (400-600kg) with FWD cars for more than 10 years now with less problems than my previous RWD cars, particularly on the boat ramps as the driving wheels are usually away from the water/slime/mud areas of the ramp.
Best luck with your new purchase. |

haven't towed any boats but for a short time we were pulling a horse float behind a volvo and had very few problems.. obviously the towing capacity was lower, but as far as handling was concerned we noticed no significant issues. The volvo being gutless didn't help much though :

I have a jetski that is about 400kg with trailer and just recently sold my BA hat I used as a tow car. We are looking at getting something smaller then the BA, either a Mondeo or Mazda6.
I was just wondering how the fwd would go up a ramp. Thanks for the replies. |
