Default TS50 Body kit

Why is it the front part of the TS50 body kit won't fit on series 1?

seires 1 fairmont bonnets will also work, obviously not any xr bonnet. as long as the front is straight cut.

If you got the whole TS50 kit does a grill come with it (or is it a seperate buy, or do they expect you to use another e.g. series II)

I was looking at getting this kit for my AUI, so it would be:

AUII (or III) bonnet and latch
and the rest comes with the body kit?
or do I need the grill from the car I got the bonnet from?

or doing what HLC said, which would be cheaper for me seeing as I have the series I bonnet already on the car...and conveiniently in the same colour as the car lol.

If you get the series 2 TS50 bar, it comes with grille (it's all one piece).

If you get the lower bar only (ie no grille), you can use it on any AU - series 1 or 2/3, and just use your existing grille. If you have series 1, then Hawk grille would be a must to spice up the front bit. If you have a fairmont etc, then lower bar may be all you want and use existing fairmont grille.

I wa acctually about to ask if there were any pics, as I've just been trying to find some and I couldn't find any with just the lower bar.

That looks really good acctually.

If there's anyone here who can use photoshop you couldn't stick a TS50 lower bar on this could you? I just want to see it at an angle to get dimensions.

P.S. doesn't have to be on the pic I gave, as long as it's at an angle, thanks.

While we are talking about kits, how much lower does the TS50 kit go than a standard Tickford kit??? Will A TS50 Front Bar be lower than Tickford Side Skirts??? Are the TS50 Side Skirts much lower than the Tickford Ones with the flares???

Looking at the Series II XR ute skirts that I have on my ute ... and an XR50 bar ... there was a decent difference in height ... the Pursuit skirts were needed to match ... would have been an inch difference in height (quite a bit when it comes to lining a kit up.)

yeah the T3 kit is definately chunkier, it'd look mistmatched unless you got the fll kit imo.

Yeah already getting front and rear bar through insurance, but the side skirts will have to come out of my pocket.
