Default Electric mirror mishap...

Friday night was the best night. My brother bailed on my 21st B'Day party and the worst thing is, I backed the ute into a concrete wall, only damage is a little hunk of plastic has been taken out of the passenger side mirror. Mirror itself is fine, and the electrics still work.

Just a quick question then, how much is involved in removing and replacing the damn mirror? It looks crap with the little hunk missing out of it.

Oh, and on a little side note, the lady the guys got me for my 21st, she was pristine. Very nice. :

Where is the damage exactly? If it's the rear cover, you can replace just that part.

Well, sitting in the passenger seat, looking at the mirror, it's on the bottom of the mirror, near the outer side of it.

If its the bit that is body coloured you can just get that part new and replace it. If its the actual black plastic that makes up the mirror body, you need to buy the whole lot.

Sucks doesnt it..
