Bah sounds to me like all the city people are the ones with the problem.

These guys enjoy doing what they do with their utes, its no different to moding a car, it says something about your own individual personality... As for you bucky you should really have a rethink about what you have said as its pretty bloody biased and unfair.

As for living on a farm its not easy, you dont have a set income every year like you do working for a boss, you survival is based on the weather and if you will get rain or not, so after reading your statements about the government bailing them out, your a bloody tool, get a life!

All i can say is anyone here who wants to do this to your ute, then do it, dont let other people run your life and how you wish to express yourself.

Don't like the 'Feral' utes myself but i don't like XR8/GT bonnets on XR6's or Stripes on anything but an FPV V8, This is yet another case of "It's your car Mate!" if you like it and your ute being like that made one of your dreams come true then go for it!

Im with you FPV8U, even tho my car is rather stock and i like it that way i dont have a problem with stripes, fpv bonnets, decals, "ferral utes" etc because i am so caught up in my own life and car that i couldnt give a ИИИИ...

Its a bit of a shame the rest of the world didnt have the same idea.

took my pursuit 250 to a ute show recently and a couple of these cowboy tryhards suggested that i should turn my ute into a feral , i didn,t even say anything because what could u say to such stupidity i just cracked up.
the funny thing is that half of the feral drivers wouldnt even know how to get on a horse because isnt that what REAL cowboys do - ride horses?

Cheers

PS. Some reasons I’m doing it: when done well the utes look great, and they stand out really well in a crowd
Some people worry themselves too much over little trivial things that in the end have no impact on thier life what so ever.A fact that most people already know.
No matter what you do someone out there will find a reason to hate you and your vehicle without even knowing you or you doing anything wrong.

All you can do is worry about what makes you happy and doing it.(so long as it won't physically hurt anyone else)appologies to all potential killer's
so if doing up the ute country style is going to make you satisfied and put a smile on your dial that's all the reasoning you need....

Im not stereotyping but most of the feral ute brigade around here are rum drinking
d!ckheads that they think they own the road there is a group called "true blue tailgaters" even a ute with tailg8 on the plate a few times when if been on the town you see these "feral ute" ppl and all they wanna do is start fights and carry on, but once again do wat you want to your ute mate its yours and your spending the cash

I have a semi feral ute ... well ... I kinda call it a "rural ute" though.
I just don't have the "fat chicks ... shoot em don't root 'em" stickers on mine.

Some recently made a comment about mine being a feral ute ... I just laughed at them replying back ... "If you think mine is a feral ute ... you really haven't seen a feral ute then" (this was from a innercity office worker when I was delivering in Castlereagh Street.).

i personally think if you want to do the feral ute thing do it to a old kingswood or older ute not to a new one, new cars look nice n sleek for a reason leave the sick puppy bull bar n mud flaps for the old school utes.

I have a bullbar on my ute, for bloody good reason. 99.9% of my driving is in Rural Areas, and i reckon it has paid for itself 5 time over, as it has taken care of at least 10 roo's. I will not fit a Ford factory bullbar, as they are not worth ИИИИing on, let alone mounting. Every other bullbar is designed to deflect back towards the windscreen, yeah just what i have always wanted, Skippy in the passenger seat....
Photo's in my gallery will show why i opted for a 5 Post Bullbar.
http://www.fordforums.com.au/photos/...0&ppuser=13732
My ute is far from Feral, but looking at another thread on this website -http://www.fordforums.com.au/showthr...t=Utes+BnS%27s
would say that Ford Forums.com members do not want rural ford ute drivers with bullbars on this website, as we are "Country Bumpkins" with teeth missing, and all our girlfriends are buckle bunny sluts.... :
Just because a ute has a big bullbar, does not class it as a bloody feral!

dont go anywere bro,ur quite welcome in my opinion.
Anyone with half a brain can tell what a real feral ute is..its like a rice car...its got things that dont do anything on it.Ive seen ur ute an it hasnt got any massive truck flaps, heaps of ariels and an abundance of crude stickers all ova it.
Please dont tell me u love the flanels tho :

well G'day there, this is a very interesting tread you have here going. So were do i start, first things first, have you even seen a D9 bull dozer before, a dozer doesn't have mudflaps, so just because we live "in the bush, or the outback" as you say, we are boguns are we, were did it say that country people call city people whte tash, no were. We put bull bars on our ute to protect the ute and our selfs from roos, ever hit a roo at 100kms/hr not a pretty site. Now were does the part bout gun racks come in to it, is it becouse we come from the country and you think were gun mad, so we have guns in our utes. Well we don't have guns in our utes, some people may but most don't. So we do our utes up like trucks, we not really, we get ideas from trucks, like led marker lights and mudfaps ect ect. So we cann't drive for shyt, well so proberly cann't but on the other had there is people drive all kinds of veichles who cann't drive for shyt. And "circle work is for gay lords", well thats just great is it, so we go out in the paddock and do cirle work, this normal happen on private land, it gotta be better than sreet racing, put the lives of other inercent road ueser a risk. Whats the differenct or circle work and a burn out comp, there basicly the same, one in a dirt paddock and the other on cement/ tar. Well thats my 2 cents for the moment, and i wear a flanny and a cowboy hat, so if that makes me a country bogun so be, i'm pround to be one.

cheers your country bogun friend

Terminology correction here - you're not talking about feral utes anyway. To do a Crocodile Dundee, a ute with a bull bar, stickers & aerials is not a feral ute, this: is a feral ute. If it is road legal it is not feral enough!

now thats what i would call a feral ute, a ute which no wear near road worthy, in fact unregoable, the utes in which been talked about in this thread are bns or rural utes, not feral as outback_ute has said

You might want to read over your spelling/writing in the post and please use paragraphs. I'm not a post/spelling hypocrite but supporting the feral ute population and then spelling mud flaps wrong doesn't look great!

And for those that think all people from the country are bogans and drive feral utes, take a look and mine.

No bullbar
No mud flaps
No big spot lights

Just my 2 cents worth
