Well after the ford forum's heathcote drag day and the new Kenne Bell Blower that was fitted thanks to Chris and Agro.
I had th bug to race again... I took the ute out to Calder last night for a run, with a 12.50 first run strait off the run home and drive to the track. Than my runs when like this in order 12.45 @ 112.51 mph 1.99 60' 12.35 @ 112.57 mph 1.90 60' 12.37 @ 115.78 mph 2.06 60' 12.23 @ 114.41 mph 1.87 60' : :thebirds: This is a stock 260 no pump gears, full weight less hard top and spear wheel. But still has sub boxs in that weigh's a lot, and was run Micky E/T streets Once i cat my head around how to drive again as it's a whole lot differant to before. So once again i'll thank Chris and Agro for all your work on putting such an great package together and some quicker time's are still to be had as it stands.

Nice man real nice, good result for a plumbers work hack. That 1.87 60ft is nice, keep doing those and you might just see that 11. something.
Cheers Craig |

Well done Dave, 12.2@114mph.
Since your 12.9@105 mph unopened Vs bolting on the Kenne Belle how much rwkw have you picked up? Also a comparison on the ET and MPH from Heathcote to Calder much difference? Leigh Dave's Ute is an auto.

Well done mate.
Who said plumbers aren't good at anything........... Yes, you have to learn how to drive all over again don't you?????? The car has an 11 in it no probs. Better still, all in street trim. It's just so hard to get the power to the ground. Going by your mph, you have the baby tune in it. Still room to move, that's for sure. Enjoy the experience man, it won't be long before the tall lanky guy ups the pace with ya car.........he can't help himself!!!!!! Regards AGRO. |

I have managed 11.3lt/100klm on highway cruize, with a KTM 640 strapped in the back, and that's with giving it a few stabs when coming out of towns that I passed through. That was with 350rwkw. My daily driving around town nets me approx 17lt/100klm with 400rwkw. I give it a hard time though, as I just can't help myself. Fuel is not an issue as far as I'm concerned, I wouldn't care what is used. If I did, I would bought an excel or something!!!! In all, this setup will yield good fuel consumption, if you baby it. If you use the power though, you will have to pay.....hp doesn't come for free. Hope this helps. Regards AGRO. |

I live in Auckland and we've been loaded with a 10% increase in gas for congestion charges! Seriously, if the difference is 2 or 3 l/100kms no problem, if the regular drive puts it over the 20 l/kms then that may be an issue. Some of those cammed Holdens are pretty thirsty My XR8 does 14.8 @ 42km/h so 16-17 is not a problem.
