Default AU2 Stereo

I want to change the headunit from the stock AU2 headunit to something with a touch screen LCD in it. I think these are the same size as normal headunits I was wondering if there's an adaptor available to cover up that GIANT hole where the old headunit sat.

Ford sell them for around $20, and most audio places also sell them for about the same. The Ford one is more rounded than aftermarket one, so looks a little better (ie like the one above).

Here's a pic (somewhat dark though) of mine. They come in grey and I pained mine black. It cost me $25 IIRC, plus the Septone Plastic Vinyl paint, which was about $13 I think.

All the best with it.

And now the pockets are available from car audio retailers already made in ABS black, so no painting required!

yes, AU is double DIN so you can fit either one new replacement unit the same size as the stocker, or fit 2 units i.e. CD player and DVD player etc.
