Default 40th anniversary GT on eBay

Not sure if this has been posted already.
There is one on eBay now.
Obviously the owner is not a true Ford fan, and bought it to make money.

i think ford should have done a similar 'selection process' as what ferarri did with the enzo, where they looked at your owner history to see if you were 'worthy' of buying the car (an enthusiast), not an investor.

And the guy states that it's number 1 of 112, yet the sticker is 116. Huh?

"only 200 built in total and (only 112 manuals made) according to fpv as contacted today"

there's a fella in the for sale section selling one with starting bids of $100k too.

But you can't have a go at someone in the for sale section so you'll have to do it here :P

Their only $100,000 from the Australian importers. The normal top spec level mustang costs AUD$48,000 in the USA

I thought the first 112 were manuals.

How come it says 290kw under the hood, i thought they were meant to be 302kw or there abouts? Is this a replica based on the show room photo's he took?

That's pathetic. I remember when our local dealership sold a 30th anniversary GT it turned up with overspray on the boot rubber. Hardly the end of the word but if your forking out the that sort of money you would (and rightly so) expect better.

They are Taxis with spoilers, Falcons always will be. Just don't go pretending that they are something they are not.
