Default FPV Driver Day

Has anyone taken a family member or friend along to the FPV Driver Day or seen others do it??

The course confirmation form says no spectators. I'm wondering how strict this is?

THey are pretty strict, however I doubt they will do anyone once there. Its not the sort of day suited to spectators as your tag along will not be allowed out of the pit lane and most of the day is spent on and around the track.

I have attended three FPV driver days in Adelaide, and on every occasion there were people that had brought along mates/family members to watch, take pics/video's. They are a great bunch of guys and very accomodating.

Taking someone with you means they will be stuck sitting in the pit lane garage all day no fun.... I wouldn't do it, they may even send you home...

Not the case mate. On the last FPV day in Adelaide, I spent all of the day recording the above video's and taking pictures of everyones cars. There were 5 extra people there on the day that were not drivers.

I did mine a couple of months back at the creek. My wife was a passenger for the whole day while I did the course.

She wasnt allowed to drive any of it, but was required to fill out all the same indemnity forms that I had to.

She enjoyed it, and didnt have to sit on the sidelines watching..

Nice videos SP.UTE1.

I see someone couldn't help themslves and had to do a burn-out on the 180 deg turn on one of the skill tests.

The videos gives us an idea of what we will be doing on the day.

Yeah, again I had a camera man come along. Got him a lap around the track too.
