Default Used Epcias

Just noticed something, there is 95 used Holden Epica dealer cars on carsales! Obviously most are demos OR are they those give back cars? Not bad for an 07 model. NOT!

Didn't they only have 1 car returned during the promotion?

I'm fairly sure the female owner bought a Mazda 6 and drop punted the Epica back.

I'm not looking for an Eprica at all. I was looking at Astra and just noticed it. I believe it means that aren't selling and have been put on as demo's to create numbers in retail land.

I just can't get over the "Power of a 6, economy of a 4" tag they have attached to them.

Most new 4 cylinders have more power, and are just as efficient.

why is it that every time I see someone driving an Epica, I feel like asking them WHY? why would you do that to yourself? brand new Epica or second hand Mazda 6/Accord Euro/ Liberty for less? seems a no brainer

cmon guys, maybe they're not an enthusiast and kno nothin about cars. Money is the most important thing, and with that price for the space it offers, maybe thats all they could afford. prove me wrong if there's a cheaper mid sized car than the epica, cant be bothered to look at prices lol

Forget mid size, you can score a BF Futura for that money with change. And you get a REAL inline 6cyl. I'm sure there are many more examples. You might even get into a BF Fairmont!

True, but u gotta remember that not everyone wants a falcon, a 2.5 I6 sounds more economical than a big aussie 4.0L. Plus they probably wanted somethin brand new and not used. the falcon looks dated, and while i do believe hte epica looks crap, it looks alot fresher than a falcon in the eyes of someone that doesnt care about cars... just trying to defend those that bought it due to money issues ;)

I agree, not everyone places a huge emphasis on there cars the way most people on here do (myself included). I dont think a car has to be new to look good though, eg IMO a BA/BF XT looks better than the base model VE.
