Pretty sure Blackers has 20s. Only problem is you are pretty much limited to a 225 tyre (225/30/20??) on the front, or you hit the suspension knuckle or ball joint or something.

Correct offset for an AU is 36mm - plus or minus approx 10mm (I had 42mm offset on my 18x8s, and they were fine front and rear).

Found a link to Blackers' car:

Im putting 20's on mine in 2 weeks. they have to take a little piece of the strut but other then that they fit no worries. Mines lowered 3 1/2 inchs and they said i have to raise the front 10mm and i wont have a problem. But yeah i was told 225's maybe 235's on the front but 255's on the rear not a problem. Im going 20x8.5 front and 20x9.5 rear's

KR1STO has 20"s on his!

My cousin she has 20"z on her AU Lane here's the pic... and my Monty is engeneered to have 22"z...

you will deffinatly have to get an engeneers report done on ur car so that cops can't defect you! ... will set you back around $250-$300

Why is your car engineered to have 22"s? I didn't even think they'd fit? What was involved in getting it engineered?

Those tyres are way under size for those rims and will not look good stretched out on a rim that wide. The benefit you get in appearance from having 20's will be lost because the tyres will look :

20's cause too many issues on AU and you will need your guards rolled or you will hook the fronts and tear the guard. The your up for a paint job.

Bluedriver has had more sets of wheels on his AU's then anybody and he won't go back to 20's. Yesterday we just fitted a set of 19 x 8.5 & 9.5 rims with 245/35 & 275/30 tyres and they look tough and don't scrape.

He has gone away for the weekend but will post some pics up next week

so that we can put different sized rims on there for shows for Promo!

basically, standard 20"'z fit! maybe some front Guard rolling depends for when the trye turns, but 22"z all 4 gaurds get rolled and front ones get extended more but doesnt realy make a difference!

then you go down to regency and they give ur car a full inspection and then pass it! and you get a certificate and a new sticker that goes in your door for standard rim sizes! so we have now standard 20" so we can ge to 22" ..

Trav get 20's. They're not as bad as people who haven't ever had them say. I had 20x8 with 225's on the front my BA and it was fine, its not like i babied it either. The ride is NO worse than 19's either, i've had both.

While some places may fit a 225 on a 8" rim (or 8.5"). it is not the recommended minimum width for an 8" rim - that would be a 235. 225 is suitable for a 7" or 7.5" rim. Of course, some people treat speed limit signs as recommended minimums, so do what you want with your tyres.
