I love it how she claims shes drives a 1300cc, yet she doesn't say what it is. It is a mid 1980s Mitsubishi Mirage hatch - very eco friendly, altho I'm sure the latest supercharged V8 Range Rover V8 is cleaner for the environment.
I don't think she has much of an idea of what she's talking about. Ill-researched mouthing off is what I call it.

i saw on a news article there was a white turbo territory cruising out after rudds statesman or what ever he was in

the government flys everywhere too remember.. so maybe they should be in cessnas instead of learjets flying about the place.. should use less fuel that way..
or maybe a catapult .. cheaper.. and more news worthy haha

Politicians learn the art of spin and appearance very quickly indeed. They'll have people kissing their butts for the environmental steps they take without actually really taking any. LOL!

And may I add, all the while they'll be taxing us harder and harder, so we can feel better about our contributions to making the world greener!

Am I a cynic on such things, for sure! LOL!

They use jets for the same reason they fly to begin with.

They need to be able to get from one corner of the country to the next, then the next, then back again.

It would take all day to fly from A to B, in a cessna. Add to that all the fuel stops. It would be cheaper and more convenient to hitch hike.

I know what you were getting at, I'm just being pedantic..
