Default got my car back

yes well its been 6 weeks scince i was tboned and now i finaly have my baby back.. they fixed the doors resprayed the back quater panel, got a new ts50 skirt, a new back rim, and its all good!

but! in 4 weeks time i have to take it back to have other things fixed. cus when they fixed the car they fcuked the tint and theirs a tear in it, light casing missing from the passenger door, few NEW scratches around the car. noticable 1's (makes me thing how rough where they when they where handleing my car!)

other then thats its top notch still drives like it did before the accident

now i can fix the things i wanted to fix before i got hit! new rotors, and a fixed abs/traction control

id say they would have taken the roof lining out and busted everything in the process..

as they may have had to check for any creases in the roof etc..??

or to disconnect the wiring that runs up the B pillar etc??

good luck and demand and or make sure that place fixes it properly!

well the insurance company called me and i told them whats was wrong and they said that it was unacceptable and i should take it back and get everything fixed asap.

so im gonna take it back with little poster notes on every up, every defect they failed to fix. and a list too.

they did a god job on the door but so many minor things around the car is the problem.
things that wherent broken or damaged before i took it in!

same sort of thing happened with mine, when i brought it back and went off, they seemed more than happy to fix it, get it back after that, well there was no difference

my point is MAKE SURE they fix it, threaten the repairers with further action if you have too, the only mistake i made was not making a scene with ACA and going further with lawyers and the courts

take pictures and make sure they use one of those car diagrams to list the damage and specify in detail below, then ask for a photocopy, and get the reports from the repairers, the parts inventory and work carried out .. let them know whos boss, you pay them remember

panelbeaters are cheaper than mechanics per hour..
just things take alot longer to do (ever sanded a car back before;).. takes a while)
