Default Finding out Vehicle options

Just thought about this recently... so I decided to check if the MyFord website was back up and running and it's not (why I thought it may have been escapes me)...

Is there any other way to find out what options your vehicle has bar ringing CRC and giving them your VIN?

With your VIN Number, a Ford dealer should be able to tell you the factory options fitted. Having said that, as long as the selling dealer added your VIN it will. Any accessories added more than likely will NOT be listed.

I bought it second hand so I'm not entirely sure how many people have owned it before me.

Hmm... the things you find out about these cars.

I found out that the only factory option I got was Premium Sound. The stupid thing is that you'd think if your car had traction control it would have a LSD, but noooooooo...

In that respect I'm not happy.

The thing I was most interested in finding out is that if my XR6 did have a LSD, cause I've been funny with that all along since I bought the thing and now I know different. I couldn't tell by looking at it from the underside and I don't trust a Ford jack as far as I could throw it.

But what did surprise me is that it has extended Ford factory warranty until 2010. So I guess that's good.

Well I'd rather the extended warranty than and LSD.....
