What happens if they scrap the tax, they still need to get the money from somewhere, would you rather them increase the tax of things you actually NEED.

It's very simple really....

When you realise that the US dollar has lost some 40% of it's value since 2001, you can see why oil prices have gone up so quickly all of a sudden.

Back in 1904, 4 cents would buy you one US dollar today! (that's 96% devaluation!)

Yep, that's what happens when the greedy bankers take your currency off the gold standard for their own ends.

Just thought this was interesting, as far as who has the largest PROVEN oil reserves at present, and how much of that they are producing and how long their reserves will last at current production rates, without the benefit of new discoveries.

Canada, relative to its reserves, and technological know how, is certainly not doing its bit.

i've seen so many great inventions that will solve the crisis.
none of them will become mainstream until the oil companies go dry though!
or until someone actually stands behind it!
