Default End Of Warranty Check

Hi all
I have just bought an 05 Territory that was first registered in 2006.
I want to get the warranty work done while there is time left and I was wondering who best to do the initial check to see what needs doing?

I had originally thought that a Ford dealer will be reluctant to find problems that they will need to fix, makes sense......?
Then I read here that the Ford dealer will want to do as much as possible as they get paid by Ford Australia for the work that they do, this makes more sense.

I have arranged a guy top come and see me to check the car on Monday but with this new knowledge I feel I may be wasting money as the Ford dealer will do the check properly.

Can anyone confirm this situation for me please.

Many thanks

Gareth
