Ah well, I WAS hoping against hope anyway
 I guess I'll be choosing between the Focus with a wait and no discount, vs a Mazda3 with a wait and no discount  It's a shame I don't really like the Corolla or Pulsar.. THEY are cheap! |

I'd ALWAYS pay more for a better car though... I'd never EVER stoop to Corolla or Pulsar level, rather a used Focus or *Astra* cough

however like when I bought my MkI Focus and could have bought a runout Laser SR2... I thought about it for 30 seconds, then drove a MkI Focus and didn't bother with a test drive of the Laser... so whilst price is a big negotiator, so is getting a better car that drives better. It just depends on what you want and what deal you can get. Shockwave bought one, so check what he paid, he might be able to help!
