I spotted an Orange XR5 tonight, but it was raining and my phone camera was playing up. I think he thought I was following him. I came screaming up behind him and was trying to pull my phone out of my pocket. He ended up pulling over and letting me pass.......

I see an orange XR5 around the Springfield area and also parked on the Ipswich train line. I presume it's mikey_b's...
I passed a silver TDCi last night on Milton Road too. My focus is so dirty, he probably didn't recognise it as a fellow Focii....

That'll be me mate! I work at Mack/Volvo, Wacol, so you may see the car parked along Viking drive? Are you also in Springer's then? |

There is a black XR5 that runs at the Mt Cotton Hillclimb in the Tighe Cams series and that thing has got serious mumbo. The track is about 1k up hill and down and is quite steep. This thing does one continuous burnout from one end to the other...not the quickest way to run the track but very impressive. The only thing that is a worry though, is the last run he left his gearbox all over the hill, so I hope that doesn't mean the gearbox is going to be a weak link for the model...

umm not sure acutally. i know he is running aftermarket Intercooler, maybee CAI, Dreamscience Tune i think. and not toooo sure about exhaust.. but it would be around at least 140-150FWKW... considering they are 130FWKW stock.
But dont forget he has the Dreamscience and i pulling like 450nm Torque @ 1500RPM....

It looks pretty impressive on the track, unfortunately he's probably be better off backing off a little and let it hook up if he wants to go faster, but A+ for the wow factor...
I'm waiting for Dreamscience to get back with me to try and give me some advice with my '06 Zetec. Emailed them again today so hopefully they'll email me in the next week or so... |

hello all, i have been searching for a while and noticed that there isn't much for XR5's in brisbane. can anyone help me? would love to go on some of those cruises you see the vics doing.
I have been playing on photoshop with some rim ideas and lowering, my car has only 1600km on it so it will be a while yet before any of this happens |
