Default 5 cars stolen in CAMPBELLTOWN & BOWBOWING areas

Just talking to a friend.

their R8 Clubsport was one of the cars stolen and was started to be stripped and she told me another 4 cars were also stolen thru the night.

They got into the R8, put it in neutral etc and pushed it to a nearby waiting 4wd and then the theives towed the car to its stripping point in a gully... so if anyone knows of R8 interior, wheels going cheap around the area, please, notify the cops.

they started on the brakes (brembos) etc but were disrupted by the cops apparently

Either way its a dog act even if they did steal a commo, its the principle of it.... Bastards!!!!

Commodore or not, it is still someone's pride and joy that no thieving parasite has rights to.

I still wonder, after all these years of similar misfortune occurring to me, what makes these sorts of 'people' (and I use that term loosely) tick.

Ditto....

If these police caught them in the act... how can they get away?? You would think the element of surprise would have been on their side.

Prob not that important in the scheme of things when it comes to some of the stuff the police need to deal with.

Probably stolen to order.

It used to happen often in my area, and the cars would be dumped stripped and chopped up outside my house.
(I live on a corner to a quiet cul-de-sac)

It always creeped me out when I'd open my garage door at 5am to go to work, and see someone's car in that state, sitting metres from my own.

Hope the culprits get caught, but sadly it's unlikely.
