Default Engine Bay cleaning + LPG

Hey guys,

Haven't cleaned my engine bay since I got my car so I've been wanting to clean it for a while. I've read that I should keep the engine going while I do it at the car wash with the low pressure engine cleaner hose.

But, seeing as though I've got LPG (dual fuel) I'm not sure if I'll still be OK? I've asked a couple of Ford dealers and they wont (don't) do it so I'll probably just do it myself.

So any tips about avoiding potential problems is appreciated.

And alarm sirens..... I ruined my Viper unit on Friday night after work after I washed my engine bay, alarm started making weird as noises and I had to end up removing it, $80 for a new siren. And that was with a plastic bag over it too. Also wash it when the engine's running
