Smile Bowden Collection's Big Open Day

Our annual big open day is on for early next year, two dates have been set already. First one is being held on January the 17th 2010.

For those who have been and seen our place, they can most likely give a better story on the day than I, but we really put our heart into having a great day for those who share our passion for Australian motor racing history. The day is a bit more than our usual tours, with a few of the cars brought to life and in the afternoon we always have a famous race driver in to share his experiences with the different cars (and drivers) from the good old days. To top it off we even feed you (I hope you like sausages and bread?).

This day is held at our home, which is never open to the general public. So we have a few hoops to jump through with insurance and the like, but get one of our big car care kits and you get free tickets, or for something new, just get a smaller kit and your now able to purchase tickets for the day. We don't want them too crowded, so there are limited numbers for each day. When the first one books out (which it always does) the second one in late February will start to fill up!

Full details can be found on our website here

Hope to see you there,
Dan Bowden

When you book flights in advance with Jetstar or Virgin, its not that expensive to fly to Brisbane or even better, direct to the Sunshine Coast. Stay at the beachside tourist strip of Mooloolaba then travel 15 mins to the meeting place on the Sunday. Too easy....

I promise it would be a memorable weekend away!
