Default Lakeside this weekend, #2 Bond Hardtop gets a run and more....

Hi guys and girls,

Keep this weekend free if your in Qld as there is the big historic touring car event at Lakeside raceway with a number of our cars getting dusted off to be a part of it.

As many of you might know, the 1977 Bond #2 hardtop has been getting a LOT of work done to get it running and looking as she was in that great 77 Bathurst race. We are now just about there, so it will be on track this weekend as well as the KB Camaro, JPS BMW and there is a chance that maybe the Longhurst RS 500, weapons grade Sierra could be there too...

Drivers coming along include Kevin Bartlett and Jim Richards, which should make it entertaining to watch them do battle in their old race beasts!

Its a big event for Qld and shaping to be quite memorable, so if your in the area, check out all the details here.

Here is a short clip of from today of us getting the hardtop ready... Yes I hear you, it is a bloody tough job working here.

Later this month we have our greatest tour of the collection happening. It is like no tour you will ever do of a car collection, especially with what is lurking in our sheds. This day is looking like it could possibly be the final one we get to do as well. Check it out, might be a nice early Fathers Day gift for yourself? The Sound Tour details here

Hope to see a few of you at the track on the weekend!

Cheers,
Dan

Some dreadful news... the Bond Hardtop is too loud for Lakeside, so we will be unable to run it this weekend. :(

But, not to fear, here is some of the other cars coming out for a run from our shed.

Longhurst RS 500 Sierra
Brock 1978 Bathurst winning A9X
Mulvihill RX7 (My Brother Chris's Gp C racer, please feel free to give him hell over it)
KB Channel 9 Camaro
Richards JPS BMW

Both Jim Richards and Kevin Bartlett will be there driving their old war horses for the weekend.

Should be a big one between this and all the other stuff happening on track!
