Default Ford GTHO

Gday
i didnt know if this would be the place to come and ask but does anyone know of anyone who could make a proper 3d ford gtho cake such as this one
http://www.google.com.au/imgres?imgu...w=1280&bih=569

Its for our wedding and we are having these cars and would love to have the matching cake, just hard to find someone who could make the cake look almost like the car.

I would say that you need to look at a cake shop for starters :P

Where are you based? If you are in Brisbane there is a great little custom cake shop in Aspley just near Cold Rock ice-creamery.

Other than that, most major CBD's will have custom cake shops, however these will have a premium whacked onto them.

Hope that helps, for a start anyway

Just make sure they don't make a perfect copy from the pic as a rego plate saying "FREE HO" may not be what being a bride is all about.....

lol gotta have somethin funny on the number plate :P
Im in victoria,so far i found 1 that showed me a picture but didnt want to tell them it dont look like the car specially the shape an i got 2 others who said they could but dont have pictures because they never made one.
Guess that will make it harder because once u pay the big money for it,its stiff if it dont look how it should.

Good luck, there is bound to be heaps of people here saying you cant have a GT HO cake unless you can prove that it can lap Bathurst quicker than anything else!!

the official company rating is a measly 200 calories per slice, but those in the know say it is more like 300 calories...

It's probably not what you are after, but you can get a photo of just about anything made into a sugar decoration, it's literally food colouring ink-jetted onto a sugar base. This maybe a bit more budget-friendly, and you can pull it off and keep it, then eat the rest of the cake!

Just a thought.

Get buddy from Cake Boss to make it. That guy made an exact copy of his mrs and it was life like, only thing is you would have to fly him in from U.S.A and listen to his sisters voice.

Why not just get a GT Cake? They're not as rare, and look the same from the oustide.

Or since you're a Holden gal, why not use a real Holden?
and cut it in half with a chainsaw...
