No springs in the VN paddock bomb, sure looks awsome, also just as awesome changing tires.

Jack up car
Realise the wheel still will not go on
Dig hole under wheel
Break shovel
Swear
Get a mate to lift the diff up so you can slide a brick under it
Put arm under with brick
Car falls off jack
Rip hand out, grazing it from it nearly being sandwiched (about a tenth of a second in it i swear) between a brick and a disc brake.
Swear more
Love thy finger

Bleed the clutch of all the DOT4 and replace it with DEX3 (not seeing the massive warning on the cap).....

Get in car, pump clutch a few times....ignore how it seems "loose".... put in 1st and start it.... SWEAR LOUDLY as I almost go through the garage door.

I slathered the bonnet of my project XD in paint stripper. Nice thick industrial stuff that makes the paint bubble and peel...

Then I sat on the ground in front of the car to undo something else, and about 5 minutes later put my arms flat on the edge of the bonnet to push myself up off the ground.
Eugh!! My arms are sticky!! What the hell is th..OH!! IT BURNS!!!

POsition yourself under a gearbox and have a mate trying to jimmy it free... it was in a datsun 1600 and of course, the grabox came free and I had to catch it. I was lying on my back under the car and somehow managed to catch the 'box just before it landed on my nose.

Lucky I used to have reflexes of a cat... maybe all of us would probably be that quick when noticing a gearbox dropping on their heads.
