Mondeo stereo same as LV Focus?

Hey guys I'm curious if your Mondeo stereo is the same as the ones out of the LV Focus? Its an odd oval shape with a chrome ring?

I come across a shop selling DVD headunits as in OEM replacement style ones for the Mondeo and it looked similar to the Focus one.

I wonder if it will work.

Pretty sure they are the same kind of shape, best thing would probably post up a pic of your stereo unit and we could make a better call.

I'll take a photo tomorrow morning as my phone camera can't take low light shots for **** haha.

Its different to that one though but same shape.

If its the same shape then I reckon you'll be alright. In fact, ask over in the Focus section and poach that piccy of my interior as I reckon some of the upspec Focii got the same Sony head unit pictured above.

In the Mondeo, the Zetec & Titanium got the "Premium" Sony head unit (as above) whereas the LX got a more basic unit.
