Hi Members i just received the following email.

Show your support for legal drag racing

Quote:
Hello racers and fans,
Canberra International Dragway is almost across the line. There is the money, land, Government agreement, environmental studies done etc. Ready to go.
BUT!!!
A local greenie group have gathered their forces and are making big waves and giving the Canberra government the jitters. They are telling everyone a dragstrip is going to be like an A-bomb test site.
"Stop it now while we still have a chance" is their motto.

We estimate that the "Dragway-away" group have about 80-100 supporters, but they are well organised, loud and dangerous. They get a great deal of publicity.

Please join the Canberra Motorsports Supporters Group. It's free and we really need your support.. Numbers and noise.
Please forward this email to your contacts.

Please see the attached document.

http://forums.v8owners.com.au/peters/act_drags.pdf

Fill this in and post it to :

CMSG
PO Box 487
Fyshwick
ACT 26089

Or you can email it to

actdrags@v8owners.com.au

Please support this group, without your support we may lose this opportunity.

Regards,

Peter
