Good idea ... but the issue I have with all the aftermarket lights is they don't colour match properly the LEDs with the regular light bulbs. Usually the LEDs are way to blue and the regular bulbs end up looking yellowish in comparison.

Also does it include a proper night time dimmer? i.e. daytime lights need to be dimmed at night so they don't look stupid bright like an xmass tree at night.

Soon non-DRL cars will stand out more than DRL cars. ;)

"100% match AUS standard, will replace original head lights directly!" doesnt mean they are ADR approved. Most of these lights are not ADR approved

Will be interesting to see the final shots of it.

I am just not a fan of the square highbeam section ... just doesn't match the style of the headlight.

Yep same reason im hesitant to buy a set..that and the fact that the LED doesn't follow the other teardrop..FPV lights look great though.

Don't do it if the car doesn't come from factory with it.. My Megane has these from factory, and they dim when the headlights come on to avoid dazzling at night (as I believe all DRL's must), Audi even have their headlight DRL dim when the blinker is on.

I take it that these kits have that functionality... I just couldn't understand the Chonglish eBay advert. But I'm sure they're made to exacting standards

Ummm... regarding the ebay ad, do they not know the FG FPV vehicles don't have XR headlights any more?

Correct FG FPV's have same headlights as the XT.

Fitting a FPV front bar to a FG XR will require a head light change unless you get a after market front bar from fibre-sports.

Yes, they sell both types, however they have confused the models suited for each.

Also the "100% match AUS standard, will replace original head lights directly!" statement is very misleading, the lights would most likely to be technically illegal, due to reasons mentioned earlier (ADR compliance).

One of the things that make the earlier FG XR's attractive is the headlight reflector and rim configuration, these replacement units change them to something quite ugly IMO.

Well it depends though ... The XR style versions only suit ONE FPV ... and that's the GS.

The non-XR style suits all other FPV models.

"All of our headlights come with standard halogen bulbs, they are same as almost original factory bulbs!"

They are the same as almost original
