What an awesome thread. I like hearing stories like this, where someone goes out of their way to help someone, and what the do is just downright A1 service.

Good onya Rob. And to the Ford Forum Community as well. I've solved a few problems here myself, and it's comforting to know we have this resource in which we can use.

Don't worry about the hair, the pearly whites take all the attention now.

Herrod always A1 service and when I have work done there its always finished on time and on budget, these are important things that are lacking in the motoring industry at times.
Herrod also a great contributor to our Charity and Forum events.

Always good to hear stories like this and you'd expect nothing less from Herrods. Great work guys.

This is a good example of why motoring businesses like Herror Motorsport have been around for a long time and will continue to be around for a long time.
I'm glad you posted up some feed back because good businesses deserve credit where due and it's good to know of a reputable workshop.

It's pretty amusing though, considering the XR8 next year will be reborn with the same spec engine as the FG GT, could you imagine being a HSV owner forking out all that money on a brand new GTS, then pulling up to the lights next to a FH XR8 and then sitting side by side all the way to 100 and beyond
Even more embarrasing would be the lower spec variants of the VF in HSV's stable getting whopped by a factory XR8.

Well said and very true. Rob gave me a call yesterday to follow up how things are going. I own my own business and can certainly appreciate the very fine example Mr Herrod has set of how a successful business is ran.

Just to add to this, I emailed Herrod on Friday night I think it was?
by 6.30 that night I had a reply from John answering every question I had.
Then I got a return email today (Saturday) one at 10.30 and another later this afternoon.
I'm blown away by how good the customer service is.
They aren't in it to make a quick buck by selling you things you don't need.
Well done to Rob and all the guys at Herrod.
I will be buying more stuff from you purely because of your awesome customer service.
